| "Los Angeles-based punk outfit Boink! delivers a raw punk-rock attitude melded with accessible pop sensibilities, which are sure to cause a bevy of A&R activity. The group is currently recording in Southern California with talented artist/producer Tommy Henriksen; he's the same guy who twisted the knobs on the demos for rock act Orco, which sparked a flurry of A&R interest and landed them a deal with Epic. Boink!'s sound melds elements of The Hives, The Strokes and White Stripes with a touch of Hole while adding their own unique musical touch.
